Nimesha joined LOLC Life Assurance as the Consultant Actuary Department in November 2020 and assumes duties as the company Appointed Actuary as well. Before joining LOLCLA she served as the General Manager- Actuarial of Union Assurance PLC. She has 14 years of experience in a wide range of actuarial functions and other business functions such as, strategic planning, design & costing of exclusive partnership deals and channel compensation schemes, system implementations, etc. Apart from her core actuarial role, she also headed the UA Data Analytics team and has played a key role in planning the Advanced Analytics project roadmap for the company and has led end to end implementation of few projects with the support of global analytics consultancy firm - Mckinsey Consultants. Nimesha is a Fellow Member of the Society of Actuaries, USA and holds a First Class (Hons) Degree in Finance, Business and Computational Mathematics from the University of Colombo.

Prelan Reiss has almost 25 years of experience in the Life Insurance Industry. Prior to joining LOLC Life Assurance Limited in August 2020, he was with two leading Multinational and Local Insurance Companies, where he had played multiple roles in Life Operations since 1996. Prelan is at present heading the Life Operations division of LOLC Life Assurance Limited. He is a Chartered Insurer and an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute, UK (CII). Prelan holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) at University of Wales Trinity Saint David, UK.
